Mike Jepson is a native of New York and came to Iowa in1970. He played football and baseball at William Penn College while studying Education. He started his teaching and coaching career at English Valley CSD in 1975, then moved to Emmetsburg in 1976 as a Social Studies and PE teacher and coach. Mike came to Manson Northwest Webster in 1979 and remained until his retirement in 2018. During those years, he coached football for 14 years, track for 25 years and various levels of basketball and baseball. Mike was the Activities Director from 1989 to 2018 and helped lead MNW to many state-level accomplishments in a variety of activities. Mike also coached at Buena Vista University and Iowa Central Community College. Mike has been married to Jacque for 46 years and they have two children, Andy and Jennifer. Their four grandchildren are Jack, Willow, Ayanna and Kellen.
