My name is Dana Oswald I grew up and continue to live in Fort Dodge. I am a 2000 graduate of MNW. Shortly after graduation I married my high school sweetheart, Dean. We have been married for 19 years and have five wonderful and busy children.  Parker (17), Hadley and Ansley (13), Edy Lou (6), and Landon (2).  We also are currently caring for a four-month-old baby boy. Our family has been a licensed foster family for the last six years and have enjoyed many children visiting our home. Our family loves to spend time outdoors at the lake.

I look forward to teaching social and emotional skills to middle and high school students. Social Development Instruction courses teach students the social skills needed for independent functioning with the community.  Topics may include self-control, self-expression, obeying rules, decision-making, appropriate situational behavior, interacting with others, and maintaining relationships.  Students may develop independence, self-confidence, and self-reliance.
