Bio
I grew up in Sumner, Iowa.  I began my teaching career at Keota Elementary in 1996 where I taught 4th grade and later taught 5th and 6th grade until 2007.  Throughout my years at Keota I coached football, basketball, tack and baseball at the varsity levels as well as jr. high football, basketball, and track.  My wife and I moved to Manson in 2007 and I first became involved with the school as the 8th grade girls basketball coach.  I have served as the Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach from 2008 to present.  I also started substitute teaching in 2007 through 2017.  I am now teaching 4th grade in Barnum.

Education
I attended Sumner Community High School and gradutated in 1992.  I then attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies.

I am excited to be a part of the MNW community!
