Julie Weidauer

I'm Julie Weidauer and will be entering my thirteenth year of teaching special education, all at MNW.  I spent five years teaching 5/6 special education, two years teaching 7/8 special education, and currently teach high school special education, primarily working with freshmen and sophomores.  I also coached junior high volleyball for two years before moving to the high school level for seven years.  I keep scorebook for junior high and high school volleyball.  I coached junior high girls track for ten years.

I grew up in a small town in northwest Iowa and graduated from Sioux Central.  I attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa where I graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Elementary Education with a special education endorsement.  I pursued my master's degree at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa with an emphasis in special education.

I am happily married to Greg, who is a farmer.  We are the proud parents of David.  In my spare time, I enjoy baking, cooking, biking, walking, attending sporting events, and cherishing moments with David.
