Julie Weidauer

I'm Julie Weidauer and will be entering my twelfth year of teaching special education, all at MNW.  I spent five years teaching 5/6 special education, two years teaching 7/8 special education, and currently teach high school special education, primarily working with freshmen and sophomores.  I also coached junior high volleyball for two years before moving to the high school level for seven years.  The last two years, I've kept score book for junior high and high school matches.  I coached junior high girls track for ten years.

I grew up in a small town in northwest Iowa and graduated from Sioux Central.  I attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa where I graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Elementary Education with a special education endorsement.  I pursued my master's degree at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa with an emphasis in special education.

I am happily married to Greg, who is a farmer and raises hogs.  We are the proud parents of David.  In my spare time, I enjoy baking, cooking, biking, walking, attending sporting events, and cherishing moments with David.
