Rosann Anderson

Bonjour, tout le monde!  My name is Mrs. Anderson, and I teach French I-IV here at MNW.  Originally a Minnesota native, I graduated from St. Cloud Technical HS and St. Cloud State University.  French and English are my teaching fields, and I have taught both subjects/languages to many students (grades 7-12) in Calhoun County (RCL and SCC) since the 1970’s.  In late 2014, I joined the staff at MNW.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling in Europe and have taken several student groups to France.  As you can imagine, nothing facilitates learning language and culture like being there!  It's always fun to share experiences with new acquaintances.  And exploring cities, villages, art museums, historical sites, and daily activities enriches one’s language and, more importantly, one’s view of the world.   I appreciate the opportunity to share that with my students.

Special Note: Due to inclement weather, parent-teacher conferences were cancelled. However, I will be available for individual conferences in the French room on the following dates: February 2nd, 8th and 14th. The French room is on second floor next to the tech classroom. I will be here from 3:30 to 4:30. If those dates or times don't work with your schedule, please email me to set up an alternate date. As always, I am happy to discuss your student's progress. Merci beaucoup!
