Elementary Teacher

Hello! I'm Deb Chaney and I teach elementary at the North Central Consortium School. I was born and raised in Montana and married a military man in 1987. We moved to the area after 9/11 when the Iowa Air National Guard was activated. We have 2 fur babies who keep life interesting!

EDUCATION

Teaching is my second career. I graduated with a BA in Education and Special Education from Peru State College in 1998, and I earned a Masters in Education from Morningside College in 2007. I have been teaching for a while. My first teaching experience was Title I Reading at Syracuse Elementary in Syracuse, Nebraska. I taught 5th grade BD at Fair Oaks Elementary in Fort Dodge. Now, I teach at the North Central Consortium School. It is very rewarding and I enjoy it very much.
