Michelle Armitage

Special Education Teacher

I grew up in Iowa Falls, Iowa. I went to college at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake where I played volleyball and earned my BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education, Strategist I, coaching endorsement, and a reading endorsement. After graduating, I went on to marry my high school sweetheart in June of 2002 and moved to Humboldt, IA.

I started teaching at what is now the North Central Consortium in the fall of 2003. I have since then earned my Strategist II and my Masters Educator License through Morningside College in Special Education.

My husband and I have three children - Alex, Abby, and Andy. They keep us very busy with their sporting activities. I love coaching several of the rec teams for my children as well as 7th-grade Volleyball for Humboldt. We also enjoy boating at Clear Lake in the summer as much as possible!
