Trudi Cabrera 

First Grade Classroom Teacher 

Hello, My name is Trudi Cabrera! I am so excited to be teaching first grade at MNW Elementary! I started teaching at MNW in 2012. I taught Kindergarten my first year and have been teaching 1st grade ever since!

EDUCATION

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. While at BVU I also took courses to earn both my Special Education & Reading endorsements. I also enjoyed playing on the BVU Women's golf team for a couple years! After my first year of teaching I decided I wanted to go back to school for my Master's Degree. I received my Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Dakota State University in August 2015.  During the Spring of 2020 I completed my coaching endorsement.
