What is Electrathon?

Our students compete in races throughout the Midwest with small one-person electric vehicles with limited battery capacity designed and constructed by our students. The goal of Electrathon is to bring attention to the environmental problems of conventional cars and to demonstrate the viability of electronics. The program provides a means of teaching young people how to evaluate alternatives and make sustainable lifestyle choices, and uses a problem-solving discipline to design and build an efficient vehicle, all in a hands-on and team-oriented approach. 

Trivia Night

The Manson Northwest Webster Electrathon Team would like to thank everyone in the community who has supported the annual Team Trivia Night Fundraiser. If you would like to support this year's team please contact bnelson@mnwcougars.com.   

We will be hosting a Trivia Night (similar to the "Family Feud") on the first Saturday in February at the Clare Community Center in Clare, Iowa.  You are allowed six to eight adults are required per team @ $10 per person.

Clare Volunteer Fire Department will host a cash meal.  Team Registration and Social Time starts at 6:00 p.m. and Trivia time start at 7:30 p.m.  Emcee is Radio Personality Duane Murley.   For more details contact MNW High School at 712-469-2245.
