The school nurse will contact you if your child becomes ill or seriously injured at school. If a parent cannot be reached, other individuals listed as emergency contacts will be contacted. For the child's safety, students will be released only to adults whose names appear on the emergency form.
To help minimize the spread of illness at school:
Teach your child about good hand washing and cough hygiene practices
Let the school nurse know if your child has any medical conditions
Plan ahead for how your child will be cared for if they need to remain home from school due to illness.
