The Special Education Department at MNW strives to meet the needs of each individual student by providing them with instructional support that is tailored to each student, allowing them to reach their maximum potential in the classroom. The Special Education staff works in conjunction with the general education classroom teachers to create a learning environment and educational setting that meets the needs of our students with disabilities. At MNW, we work to utilize a co-teaching model as much as possible. Having a special education teacher in the general education classroom allows for our special education students to be fully included in their general education classes and it enables them to learn beside their peers.
