Elaine Merritt
Special Education Teacher
Hi, I'm Elaine Merritt and I teach Special Education at the MNW Elementary School.
EDUCATION
I graduated from Manson High School in 1979 and then went to Iowa State University where I majored in Elementary Education and minored in Music Education in 1983. I met my husband at ISU and we married in 1983. We have 3 adult children. When the kids were little I got my Master of Education at Wichita State University in 1994. My master work focused mainly in behavior science. Since then I have worked in the private and public areas of education. I truly love working with children.
Some of my favorites
Some of my favorite things to do is sing, camp and read. I also enjoy Marvel Comic Movies and anything that deals with crime and suspense. I love shopping and doing projects with my daughter and going to music events my husband and two sons participate in.
